Our work is all about helping charities use data with confidence, so it\u2019s important that we lead by example.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This page explains how we protect your personal data when you use the CRAFT platform, including the Academy, the Crew Forums and any tools you access through Actually Data Analytics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Account Information<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When you sign up (free or paid membership) we collect your name, email address and password.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Profile Information<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can choose to add optional details like your job role, organisation or areas of interest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Forum Participation<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Posts, replies, messages, and profile photos you choose to share in the Crew Forums.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Course Activity<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Progress through Academy courses, quiz results and completion status.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Technical Data<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">IP addresses, browser type, device information and standard analytics used to maintain site performance and security.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Tool Usage (CRAFT Forge Apps)<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For tools that process files (like the Data Quality Checker), we do <strong>not<\/strong> store uploaded data.<br>Files are processed temporarily, results are generated, and the data is discarded immediately after.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>How We Use Your Data<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We use your personal data to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Create and manage your CRAFT account<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provide access to courses, tools and forums<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Track your learning progress<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Moderate community spaces and keep the environment safe<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Improve site performance, tools and user experience<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Send essential service emails (e.g., membership info, course updates, forum notifications)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Send optional newsletters or updates \u2014 only Data<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Your data is accessed only by:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Actually Data \/ Actually Data Analytics staff who maintain CRAFT<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Trusted service providers who help run the platform (such as hosting, membership systems or analytics), all under strict data-processing agreements<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We <strong>never<\/strong> share your data with third parties for advertising or unrelated purposes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>How Long We Keep Your Data<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Account info: kept while your membership is active<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Forum content: retained to preserve discussions unless you request removal<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Course data: kept for as long as your account exists, so you can return to your learning<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Uploaded files in tools: <strong>not stored<\/strong> \u2014 deleted immediately after processing<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cookies: as described in our Privacy Policy<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can request we delete your account at any time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2
